Addis in Dar Restaurant Review
by Frommer

One of Dar's most atmospheric choices, where you can dine beneath the stars and find yourself cooled by a gentle breeze even on the warmest of nights, this Ethiopian restaurant also brings home some of the cultural idiosyncrasies of its cuisine. Your hands are washed in anticipation of eating with your fingers, and you share food from a communal dish at the low Messob tables. Using pieces of pancake-like Ethiopian bread to mop and scoop the different concoctions, you tuck into a variety of dips, with different kinds of stewlike lentil, vegetable, seafood, and meat dishes prepared with exotic sauces and gravies.
